A morning, in an industrial ground, seventy-two musicians of different backgrounds in terms of experience, age and nationality, are employed in a factory by the name of Unità di Produzione Musicale. In a locker room they’re given work suits and a registration number. They’re then gathered to learn about the rules of the eight-hour work day: divided in teams and with assembly line shifts, the workers will need to produce music on an industrial scale.
